Welcome to the new Hursley badminton blog. The plan is to use this space as a place to communicate and interact with our members. As well as to encourage new players to join the club.
Hursley badminton club has a great friendly atmosphere. Lots of banter with both friendly and competitive games being played. We are always looking for new players to join us (all standards are welcome!). We are also currently looking for some new league players to join our division 3 team in the Winchester league. We are just coming to the end of the current season and it has been a bit of a mixed bag of results. I’ll save the gory details for another post but with a full team we beat the current league table leaders. Sadly though, playing the full squad for every game turned out to be impossible leading to some rather odd results throughout the year and probably not as impressive a finish as we had hoped for. So if you are looking to play some serious league badminton, please come along and try the club out.

The club runs all year round and you would be very welcome to join us. Why don’t you pop along on Wednesday night. I open the club up at 7pm and it runs to 10:30pm.
